Kevin Krueger opened Capstone Insurors, Inc. in June of 1997. A one-man agency with only himself and a receptionist, Kevin’s dedication to hard work and community service saw the business grow quickly and it hasn’t stopped. “I consider myself fortunate to have chosen a field and built a business that allows me to give back to the community,” says Kevin. “Some of my favorite programs are the ones that get us out of the office and into the schools and businesses. Our Wellness Program, in particular, provides educational material and resources to school nurses/ wellness coordinators as they work to help school employees make healthy choices.”
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and has almost 20 years experience in the insurance industry. He has served on the Missouri Association of Independent Agents (MAIA) Board of Directors and continues to actively support this industry. Kevin is multi-line licensed, specializing in employee benefits. He has also received an LUTCF designation from The Life Underwriting Training Council.
Kevin and his wife, Sandy, have two sons; Bryce and Jace. Family time is a top priority for the Krueger’s. Kevin spends much of his free time watching his sons’ teams in a variety of sports. The family attends the United Methodist Church in Bolivar.
Vice President of Operations
Darin came to Capstone in 2004 after a nine year career in education where he taught high school mathematics and physical education and coached high school basketball and golf.
Darin sells all lines of insurance but spends most of his time in Property and Casualty Risks which included home, auto, personal umbrella, commercial liability, commercial property, commercial auto, workers compensation and other types of policies. In 2011, Darin earned a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation through the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.
Darin is also active within the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) and annually attends the Small Agents Conference and Leadership Conference. In 2009, he became the Tournament Director for the Missouri Trusted Choice Big “I” Championship which is a junior golf tournament sponsored by MAIA.
In addition to his insurance career, Darin referees high school basketball and is President of the Southwest Missouri Basketball Officials Association (SMBOA).
He also enjoys playing lots of golf and spending time with his four nephews Deacon, Bo, Jake, and Chapel.
Vice President of Finance
Jessica joined Capstone Insurors in June 2012. She is a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health agent as well as the Vice President of Finance for Capstone. She acts as the Team Leader for Capstone’s OSBA program in assisting payroll administrators with benefit administration. Jessica oversees the agency’s financial management as well.
As a Bolivar native, Jessica graduated from SBU with degrees in Accounting and Economics/Finance. She has over 8 years of experience in both public and private accounting and enjoys the diversity of working with the OSBA school districts in the Life & Health arena.
Jessica and her husband, Jason, have three daughters, Brielyn, Kinsley and Caydrin. They enjoy spending time with friends and family and going on evening walks with their dog Cora. Jessica’s hobbies include gardening and reading. She attends church at Prairie Home Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivar.
“After working in Springfield for the several years, I am excited to be back in Bolivar,” Jessica says. “I look forward to being able to make a positive difference both here at Capstone and in the community. The team here at Capstone is exceptional and I feel blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people.”
Elizabeth joined Capstone Insurors in September of 2013 as an intern and became the full time Controller in May of 2015. Elizabeth is originally from Dixon, Missouri and received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Information Assurance from Southwest Baptist University.
She is licensed in Life & Health insurance and works in the accounting department as well as with some system integration. Elizabeth is also Capstone’s support specialist assisting clients with Affordable Care Act regulations and compliance.
While not at work, Elizabeth and her husband Adam enjoy spending time outdoors and hanging out with friends, family and their dog Ruger. She also helps lead worship at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Bolivar where her and her husband are members.
Elizabeth is very excited to be working at Capstone and feels blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a great group of people.
J.R. joined Capstone Insurors in 2008. He works in life and health but deals mainly with the OSBA school districts.
J.R. holds a Specialist degree in Secondary School Administration. He is retired after a 33 year career in education of which 20 were spent as a high school principal. He spent the last nine years of his career as principal of Bolivar High School.
He and his wife, Lauretta, have one daughter, three sons and eleven grandchildren. J.R. and Lauretta enjoy spending as much time as they can with their kids and grandchildren. J.R. also enjoys officiating high school basketball and track. Other hobbies are fishing, traveling and yard work.

Amy McHolland joined Capstone Insurors in February, 2004 as a customer service representative. Her work includes processing new applications, taking premium payments and filing claims. She is also the friendly voice you’re most likely to hear when you call Capstone.
Amy graduated from Bolivar High School and gained valuable insurance experience working with AMS, a national firm serving the insurance industry, in Bolivar. Amy has her Property and Casualty Producer License.
She and her husband, Mike, live in Springfield, they enjoy running, going to the lake and attending area high school ball games. She also enjoys watching Mike coach High School Softball and Girls Basketball. Amy is a member of the Bolivar First Assembly of God Church.
Like many of her co-workers, Amy sited the people as her favorite part of her job. “I work with a great bunch of people,” she says. “It’s fun to see how all our different talents combine as we work to help our customers.”
Benefits Account Manager
Fable joined Capstone Insurors in November 2013. She is from Bolivar and graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Child and Family Development. After graduating, she spent five years working at the YMCA in Bolivar as a director.
Fable is licensed in Property and Casualty and Life and Health. She works primarily with the OSBA school program in enrollment and member services. In addition to the OSBA program, Fable works with individuals, groups, and Medicare recipients with various health insurance products.
While not at work, she and her husband, Mason, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Maiden. They also enjoy being with their family and friends. Fable is on the worship team at her church, The Hill in Bolivar.
Kelly previously worked for Capstone Insurors from August 2006 through July 2013. She recently joined the team again in January of 2017. She is a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health agent. She is a Benefits Account Manager and works with area employers, as well as Capstone’s OSBA program.
Kelly was born and raised in Bolivar. Before working in insurance she worked in the legal field. She has over 10 years of experience in benefits and working with small and large employers alike. She has a strong background in customer service.
Kelly, and her husband Justin, have 3 sons; Drew, Aidan and Asher. They are actively involved in the community and their church. They enjoy watching their sons in their many sporting events and spending time outside together. Kelly loves to work in the yard, decorate, read and of course shop with her friends. She also enjoys writing her blog, Compelled by Love.
“I love living and working in my hometown,” Kelly says. “I like being able to work with school districts all over the state as well as the businesses in our own backyard. I love helping people and want to do my best to help employers and employees understand their benefits.”
Beth joined Capstone Insurors in April 2012. She serves the role of both a producer assistant and customer service representative. Working closely with the producers on quotes and servicing current accounts for both personal lines and commercial lines. She also assists in training new employees and marketing for the agency. In 2015 she earned her CISR designation and is currently working towards obtaining her CISR Elite designation. She was recently awarded the 2016 Missouri Outstanding CSR of the Year award. Beth says "she enjoys the pace of the insurance industry and the variety of tasks that she faces each day."
Beth is originally from Portland Oregon. After graduating high school she moved to Bolivar to attend Southwest Baptist University. She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors in Athletic Training. Beth spent the next 5 years in healthcare before making the transition into the insurance industry.
Beth married her husband in 2009 and they have two girls ages 6 and 4. Beth enjoys spending time with her family while staying active, whether it's running, playing golf, enjoying the local attractions or simply just being outside in the yard. Beth helps with the Bolivar Community Sports Association, running the basketball program for kids in PreK and Kindergarten. Beth is a member at Silo Ridge Golf and County Club where her husband is an assistant golf professional and she attends the First Baptist Church of Bolivar.
Misty was born and raised in Bolivar and graduated from BHS in 2008. She attended Evangel University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising. Before joining the Capstone team in August 2017, she was a familiar face in the community at Bolivar City Fire Department, serving as their Executive Assistant. At Capstone, Misty serves as a Producer Assistant and Customer Service Representative for Personal Lines Property & Casualty. When not at work, Misty enjoys traveling, photography, going to concerts and festivals, and hanging out with family, friends, and her dog, Clark. Misty’s dream one day is to own a ranch in Austin, Texas where she can rescue all the lonely dogs, cats, horses, cows, llamas, goats, bunnies, and hamsters in need.
Debbie joined Capstone Insurors in June of 2013. She is the system manager for Capstone’s online benefits enrollment system.
Much of Debbie’s career has been spent in the field of quality assurance while working for organizations such as AMS, McKesson, Duck Creek Technologies and Accenture. She is excited about applying the skillsets she has acquired to the enhancement of the online enrollment experience for Capstone clients.
Debbie and her husband Doug live on a small farm Northeast of Bolivar. She enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Debbie also enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling and experiencing the wonder of nature.
“I am so glad to be a part of the Capstone team” Debbie says. “It is a joy to work with such talented and caring co-workers.”
Krista Edwards joined Capstone Insurors in 2008 as the Wellness Coordinator. She arranges wellness programs and incentives for the OSBA group to help control heath care costs via preventative measures.
After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, she became an ACE-Certified personal trainer. She has been training for the last 13 years and currently owns Extra Mile Fitness with locations in Springfield, MO and Stockton, MO. She became a personal trainer because she believes many of the health problems people face today can be prevented with proper diet and exercise. After seeing how many lives she could change for the better working with people on an individual basis, she was excited to get a chance to broadcast those same ideals on a corporate level by coming on board as Capstone’s Wellness Coordinator.
Krista and her husband Shad currently have three children; Alexa, Ashton and Jacob. They enjoy spending time at the lake, hiking, and organic gardening. In her free time, Krista enjoys running, swimming, and riding her bike.
